Faced with the floods that hit Valence hard at the end of October, an exemplary show of solidarity was quickly organised to come to the aid of the people affected. One of the key initiatives was the collaboration between the OGEU Group, the leading mineral water company, and the Astre Group, which highlighted the importance of joining forces to provide practical, effective solutions in an emergency.
The floods have left many families destitute, making it difficult to access basic necessities such as drinking water. Aware of the urgency of the situation, the OGEU Group generously donated 15,000 bottles of water to meet the immediate needs of the inhabitants.
But providing water is not enough: it must also be delivered quickly and safely. That’s where the Astre Group, a European transport and logistics network, comes in. Thanks to its responsiveness and expertise, Astre was able to transport this vital cargo to Valencia, once again demonstrating its ability to mobilise its resources for essential causes.
This collaboration between Ogeu and Astre is a perfect example of what companies can achieve when they join forces. While Ogeu provides support by supplying the necessary goods, Astre uses its logistical expertise to get these resources to where they are needed most.
The Astre network, renowned for its rigour and efficiency, has demonstrated its ability to respond rapidly to critical situations. Not only did this operation provide invaluable assistance to the people of Valence, it also demonstrated the importance of inter-company solidarity in the face of natural disasters.
